Massoud Ghadiani
Chief Financial Officer
Massoud Ghadiani was born in Tehran, Iran and received his accounting degree from the University of Tehran. Upon completion of his college degree, he was employed as an accountant with the Ministry of Transportation in the Iranian government. He came to the United States where he received his MBA from the University of California at Berkley. In 1979, Massoud was employed by Aurora Dairy as Vice President and Controller, where he had complete responsibility for the accounting and financial aspects of the company.
Massoud served on the Board of Directors of the company, as well as serving on both the Re-engineering and Compensation Committees. He worked as a budget and project coordinator, and was responsible for banking and finance relationships, including all public audits. Massoud was directly responsible for the oversight of the development and implementation of a complex software system to deal with the over 150 partnerships that were at one time a part of the real estate portion of the company. Upon the restructuring and refocus of the principle business to dairy farming, Massoud was deeply involved in the details of acquisition and finance of those operations.
In August 1995, Massoud left Aurora to enter into private business for himself, operating a Petland Super Store. Between 1995 and 2000, he grew annual sales to over $1.5 million annually, with a customer count of over 4,000. His store was recognized as the most well presented store in the Petland operation nationwide, receiving "Store of the Year" awards in 1998, 1999, and 2000. Massoud successfully marketed his business in 2000, and returned to Aurora, once again as Controller. After the founding of Dairy Production Systems, Massoud was named Chief Financial Officer.
Massoud has over 25 years of accounting, financial, and business management experience, and has a deep passion for the development and maintenance of an appropriate controlled environment with regards to accounting and finance. He and his wife Brenda have one son, and reside in Gainesville, FL.
